Marta Villa
Marta Villa is a post-doc research fellow at the University of Trento, Department of Sociology, Italy (European Project ECOVINEGOALS). She holds a degree in Moral Philosophy and in Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, she's PhD in Contemporary Anthropology: ethnography of cultural divergences and convergences, obtained at the University of Milano-Bicocca with a thesis on fertility rites, identity constructions and recognition strategies in Südtirol/ Alto Adige. Her research interests are Alpine Landscape, Pastoralism, Agriculture, Food Culture, Traditional Knowledge and Relationship between Identity and Territory. She is Contract Professor in Cultural Anthropology of Education (PFPTI) at University of Trento and Cultural Medical Anthropology at University of Verona. She was research assistant in Alpine History FSN (Fondo Nazionale Svizzero) international project LabIsAlp (History of Alps Laboratory) Academy of Architecture, University Italian Switzerland.
