Marco Lomuscio

Marco Lomuscio is a postdoctoral researcher. He earned a PhD in Development Economics and Local Systems, a joint PhD programme of the Universities of Trento and Florence, Italy. He holds a BA in Philosophy and an MSc in Sociology. He specialized in cooperative economics, organizational studies, regional economics and local development, and he is interested in cooperatives, employee ownership and worker takeovers. He worked at the Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL) and the EURICSE research institute, also serving as a pro-bono consultant for cooperative companies. He was visiting PhD fellow at the Copenhagen Business School and he is a member of the Expert Committee on Economic Democracy.Â
